I have spent about five hours so far collating reactions to last night’s Who and am still not done yet, so if this is a bit disjointed, blame Russell T Davies. When I’ve finally done I’ll be making Liberal use of this and picturing Rusty in the role of Boss.

Tips to the usual address: all submissions will be considered, although there’s no guarantee of inclusion.

Andrew Hickey has a great post about why the Lib Dems’ current strategy is completely arse-about-face, which neatly encapsulates my own feelings on the matter and chimes with Mike Smithson’s recent post too.

Stuff White People Like dissects Godwin’s Law: “all human beings can be neatly filed into one of two categories: People I Agree With, and People Who are Just Like Adolf Hitler.”

Shakesville reports on a fiscal fly in John McCain’s soup.

On my blog there are tips for those who wish to pile the pressure on Heinz like Lynne F.

Feministe has a touching tale of what it’s like to be a feminist big sister.

PeeZedTee has utter disbelief over Cameron’s assertion that Gordo has lurched to the left.

Rhythmaning is amused that politicians want you to do stuff they are unwilling to do themselves.

And since I know you’re all itching to join in the Doctorgasm, Who writer David A MacIntee’s review is here, and my lovely fiance has a reactipoll here.

I like Andrew Hickey’s post.. think its spot on.

Well, regards to Dr Who I was gonna wait until the final instalment next wk before I got my little grey cells processing all the relevant information and whether this series was any cop (though some sparkly gems amongst the below average episodes) . And also Rusell T. versus Steven Moffat….

Harpy: I have big issues with both, but think Moff will at least be better-written misogynistic rubbish ;)

Sunny, yes, Andrew apparently quite proudly uses “SB says I am always right” as a trump card in arguments with his other half…

Doctor who misogynistic, now that’s an interesting take :)

Wow, fellow Who fans – and on LibCon of all the places!

That makes up for being the only one I know who watches it in my family / among my friends.

I’ve missed all of Series 4 so far bar two episodes (yesterday’s and The Fires of Pompeii), but it was AMAZING nonetheless. My spine tingled for the whole frickin’ 45 minutes!

Did anyone else catch ‘Jekyll’ when it was on?

Ah, Jekyl, now THERE’S a show with some issues about women… ;)

Amrit, I can’t speak for the site, but the Lib Dem party is stuffed with hardcore Who geeks Have you read Alex Wilcox excellent “How Doctor Who Made Me a Liberal” article?

Haha, now I am seriously thinking of voting Lib Dem! I would like them to come out fighting now though, because what with the whole ‘Tories-going-liberal’ and ‘Labour-going-authoritarian’ mess, the sane amongst us need a (non-BNP) alternative.

Doctor Who made someone a liberal? Crikey! I’m going to go look that up now. Thanks! And thanks for your friendliness in replying, I’ve hovered on the fringes of Pickled Politics for a long time now (only occasionally popping up), but Lib Con is a recent discovery. :-D Everyone always knows so much, and I feel like such a ‘lay’ person! I always comment far too late, and say nothing of relevance. Oh well.

I have noticed that Lib Dems very rarely agree about anything, and certainly not about who’s the best Doctor ;)

And yeah, I’d like my party to get its collective arse in gear too; we shall see if it actually happens.
