Ann Rossiter, director of the Social Market Foundation, has today announced she is leaving, to take a post as special advisor to John Denham, the Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills. The SMF is the third think tank in the past four weeks to see the departure of its director, after Catherine Fieschi left Demos and Anthony Browne went to work for Boris Johnson.

Not the only think tank director to resign today. Telegraph is reporting that Wilf Stevenson has resigned as director of the Smith Institute following the Charity Commission report, as has Lord Haskel chairman of the trustees.
Apparently she’s known to be a total nightmare to work with and has seen staff stupid amounts of her staff leave due to her mental ways…
