Don’t forget, tonight from 9pm, we’ll be Live Blogging the US election (pssst! Look, over there on the right of our page).

We don’t expect much to happen before midnight, but you can still join us for some drunken conjecture.

Hopefully in the wee hours we’ll have something substantial to natter about. Either way it’s the place to be.*

Getting Prepared

*Unless you have tickets to some swish election party with an open bar and Ferrero Rocher. If so, you can bugger off. Whatever. Like we care?

im here. for now!

Oh good, we’ve got a chatroom appear on the site. I thought we were liveblogging it, not playing around with a flash version of a 15 year old idea?

/bitchiness

Mat, I thought we were Live Blogging too…I think we should set up a real live blog here, don’t you think?

It’s up to you dude. Your ball etc.

lolz @ matgb.

hoping to be about tonight – tho’ my landlady has thoroughly failed to make internet work, so I’m paying a trillion quid to do this via extortionate phone roaming charges. Oh well – ‘don’t spend important media events in countries where your PM has just bankrupted everyone’ is probably the lesson.

the ‘pre anywhere reporting’ coverage is even more vacuous nonsense than in uk elections, isn’t it?

Works for me, I’ll have to wait to setup, Jennie’s hogging the laptop so it’s either desktop or telly but not both for a bit. Not sure how long I’ll be up though, didn’t sleep much last night, the insomnia has turned the corner the day before I wanted it to. You can probably tell from my post:

(i.e. ‘a real liveblog wld be nice’. note: the quantity of evil spirits i’ve consumed may outweigh the merits of my contribution. lack of web aside, this country rules.)

fuck, west virginia hasn’t gone immediately red. this is interesting stuff.
