So, what should Obamaman’s super power be?

Marvel has a history of political engagement. Stan Lee, the founder of Spidey and many characters, was quite the activist at times via his “Soapbox” letter to the reader.

The X-Men is, among other things, an allegory about intolerance.

Iron Man was investigated by a familiar looking left-wing reporter called John Pillinger a few years back and the Civil War story arc was a barely disguised comment on the Patriot Act with the late Captain America standing up against his own government.

Both stories were written by Brits though: Garth Ennis and Mark Millar, graduates of our own 2000ad.

Is this something to celebrate? How long before is face is projected onto billboards – the personality cult – loved by all true socialists?
