Hello all, I’m at the Convention on Modern Liberty today, as expected. The Liberal Conspiracy/Comment is Free joint event will be held at lunchtime, 1-2pm. Joining me in a panel discussion will be:

Phil Booth – has he got his conference credentials in order this time?

PS – obviously if he answers, he has.

Will they be fighting to restore the right to silence and other liberties that have been infringed longer ago than the past 10 years?

How do they intend to get bad laws changed? Obviously we can raise awareness and lobby MPs – but enough Conservative and all Lib Dem MPs opposed the government on 42 days and ID cards, and yet not enough Labour MPs rebelled. Is there anything else we can do?
