This really should not be a racist issue. The mistake the President made was commenting before he had all the facts. Condemmation of the police without regard for the actions the professor is not only irresponsible but will create a confrontational attitude toward police everywhere. Lets wait and see what comes from the “beerfest” to see if there will be a true learning experience from this event.

JohnW, he was asked a question about a good personal friend of his, many of the circumstances were at the time he was asked, known. He was not going to get off that one lightly under any circumstance.

The “beer in the garden” was however classic Obama, he turned what could have been a PR disaster in to a photo shoot and raised the issue of unlawful racial profiling by the Police.
